10/12/14 Stauffenberg Bloodstock bought 6 foals at Arqana, Goffs and Tattersalls

all for an international Pinhooking Syndicate

As the last pinhooking ventures, especially this year, were quite successful, it was no surprise that old and new investors asked STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK to set up a new syndicate for 2015.

So more than 1200 foals were inspected at the relevant sales at Arqana, Goffs and Tattersalls. The focus was on very good movers with good health and correct conformation and especially in case of the fillies good female lines. After the selection process finally six quality foals could be bought - four fillies and two colts.

As usually, the round of foal sales started at Goffs. At the end of the sale STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK had acquired just one filly by 1st Season Sire CASAMENTO out of ASHIRAH, herself the dam of Gr.2 winner HOT STREAK.

At Tattersalls two more fillies and two colts werde added to the portfolio. First was a colt from the second crop of ZOFFANY - rated as the most likely Champion 1st Season Sire by some good judges - out of GLYMPSE, herself the dam of three winners, but as well the sister to the dam of actual multiple Gr.1 winner DESIGNS OF ROME. Next was a filly by leading sire ACCLAMTION out of Gr.3 winner WURFSCHEIBE, whose sister has produced Gr.1 winner WALDPARK among others. An other well bred filly is the daughter by top class sire ELUSIVE QUALITY out of SNOWGAL, a GALILEO sister to 2yo Gr.1 winner PRESELI. Last, but not least STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK had to go quite high to purchase a colt by an other outstanding sire, this time DUTCH ART, the first foal out of DARLING GRACE, a close relative to Gr.1 winner GIOFRA.

At Arqana was only one foal STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK wanted to accquire, this was an other filly, this time by superb sire OASIS DREAM out of Gr.2 winner ANA MARIE. At the end the demand was such, that this foal became the most expansive foal of the sale and of all the foals purchased.

All foals will be raised at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN and hopefully all be offered at the leading Yearling Sales in 2015 by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK.
