07/06/15 Rockaway Valley is an exciting 2yo winner at the Curragh

ROCKAWAY VALLEY by HOLY ROMAN EMPEROR won quite impressive at the Curragh. According to the Racing Post the race looks "high class" and the winner looks exciting. Trained by Jessica Harrington for Mill House LLC and ridden by Shane Foley, the colt is bred by Matt Duffy & Newtown Stud. STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK purchased the colt at the Tattersalls December Foal Sales on behalf of a pinking syndicate for GNS75.000. The colt was then taken to SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN to be raised and finally prepared for the Tattersalls October Yearling Sales. Patrick Cooper of the BBA Ireland purchased him for GNS165.000, which meant, it was a very good return of investment for the investors, but he seems to have got a high class colt on behalf of his owners.

STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK will return to Tattersalls this autumn with quite a quality consignment.
