04/04/16 Force of Destiny 1st winner in champagne-bordeaux in the UK

Usually only fillies race in the colours of Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg - but FORCE OF DESTINY (Galileo-FOUR ROSES) is the odd exception as he did not sell as a yearling. Now he is the first horse in the colours of his breeders to win in England. The one time German Derby hopeful won at Lingfield in quite convincing style over nearly two miles under Luke Morris. He is trained by Ilka Gansera-Leveque, a German native who has set up her own training stable at the english headquarters of racing in Newmarket.

The now 4yo FORCE OF DESTINY is one of five winners out of FOUR ROSES, a mare which is very close to the heart of her breeders. She is not only a wonderful specimen, but a daughter of their foundation mare FRAULEIN TOBIN, through which they met 22 years ago.

FOUR ROSES has a yearling colt and a colt foal by SINNDAR at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN, both born on Valentine's Day and both own brothers to the best horse their dam has foaled so far and this being the G2W FOURS SINS, which won in the colours of HH the Aga Khan. She is booked to MAXIOS in 2016
