28/07/18 Faadhel and Lake Magadi went for a double in England and Germany

The 3yo FAADHEL (Maxios-FIREDANCE) gained his second win in a row when going away from the field at Chester under Jack Mitchell for his owner Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid al Maktoum and trainer Roger Varian. Bred by Graf and Grafin Stauffenberg at their SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN the 3yo colt was consigned and sold as a yearling by STAUFFENBERG BLOODSTOCK at Book II of the Tattersalls October Sales to his connections. FAADHEL is the 7th winner from 8 runners out of FIREDANCE, whose best so far are the G3W FEARLESS HUNTER and the Sp FIL ROUGE. FIREDANCE has a colt foal by PRIDE OF DUBAI and is in foal to HARZAND.

LAKE MAGADI (Soldier Hollow-La Martina) completed the double for his breeders winning oneof the Superhandicaps at the idyllic race course of Bad Harzburg. He won under Wladimir Panov in the colours of Stall Calima and trained by Jan Korpas. LAKE MAGADI was sold privately as a foal to Horst Pudwill and was in training with Markus Klug, before he was sold to his current connections. LA MARTINA was sold at the Arqana December Sales 2014.
