21/04/24 Frangipani foaled an exciting brother to Derbywinner Fantastic Moon ...

The last foal of the season 2024 for GRAF UND GRÄFIN STAUFFENBERG was not born as usual at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN but at Meadow Farm in England. However, after a long wait FRANGIPANI foaled a strong bay colt by SEA THE STARS at around 00:25 on the 21st of April which weighed 56kg. 

FRANGIPANI was due on 1st of April and is booked to SEA THE MOON, the sire of her best foal so far  - German Derbywinner FANTASTIC MOON and due to the regulations in the UK, she could not have been covered early enough if she would have foaled at home.  

Obvioulsly, this foal is quite a special one for all involved being by SEA THE STARS, the sire of SEA THE MOON and all are looking forward how this colt will develop and what he will achieve in the sales ring and on the racecourse. 

FRANGIPANI has a 3yo filly FANG MICH by STARSPANGLEDBANNER in training with Henk Grewe and she is due to give her debut next Sunday at Hoppegarten hopefully on the way to the German Oaks, Gr.1. Her 2yo is a filly as well. She is by MASAR, named FIRE AND ICE and in training with Sarah Steinberg, the trainer of FANTASTIC MOON.
